Simorgh is a group which formed out of several London based Iranian students meeting occasionally to play music since mid-2004. Each member of the group has his own unique musical background, which means a variety of musical tastes, and styles, within the group. Through combining different genres and playing styles Simorgh have arrived at a unique style, which is a blend of traditional Iranian music, Electronic atmospheric music, taking motifs and ornamentations from other genres such as Rock and Urban music.
