Interview with Saghi Ghahreman
Pari: Ms Ghahreman, why do you write?
Saghi: I am a poet, a writer, and I also do a little photography and painting, but writing is a necessity for me. It is the only way that I can express and explain myself. As a woman, it is the only way I can make my voice heard and claim my identity.
.
Pari: In your writings, you step over traditional boundaries and break taboo. Is it a deliberate act?
Saghi: Yes, it is conscious decision born out of necessity to defend my right as a woman and as a human: to be who I am.
